#2 James Bouknight
Some rankings have James Bouknight in the top 10, while others have him in the top 20. CBS sports has him getting picked 7th overall by the Golden State Warriors.
He is a quick young guard who can get his own shot and has tremendous upside as a go-to scorer. A 6' 4" 20-year-old sophomore who played for the UConn Huskies, Bouknight is athletic enough to play above the rim and also has the shooting stroke to knock down deep threes.

James Bouknight could fulfill the front office's desire for more offense in the roster and complement the second unit of the Golden State Warriors. He could finish near the rim with either hand and use his ball handling and body control to draw a lot of fouls.
Bouknight has the soft touch for a layup and also the strength for a thunderous dunk.
#1 Davion Mitchell
Davion Mitchell of the Baylor Bears is the ideal and possibly first choice for the Golden State Warriors.
The Ringer's and ESPN's mock drafts both have him getting selected 7th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. He is originally a defensive-minded player who is great both on and off the ball. However, he made massive strides in his offensive game to now become a highly scouted prospect.
Mitchell has consistently worked on his game and improved every season. He went from 28.8% from the three-point range in his freshman year to 44.7% in his senior year.
Davion Mitchell played point guard in college and can also facilitate the ball to create shots for his teammates, so he'd be a great fit for the second unit of the Golden State Warriors.
He has shown passion for the game, as he is dedicated to improving himself. Mitchell led the Baylor Bears to their first-ever NCAA championship in 2021. He would drastically improve the Golden State Warriors' defense and also contribute his fair share in offense.
