Jordan Poole could be an X-Factor for the Golden State Warriors

It seemed as if the light was finally coming on for Warriors guard Jordan Poole towards the end of the 2020-21 season. After struggling with his consistency as a rookie, Poole started to find his rhythm during his second season. He went on to average 12.0 points per game while shooting 43.2% from the field. After another full offseason of working on his craft, Poole has been one of the more pleasant surprises for the Warriors throughout training camp and preseason. With Klay Thompson not expected to return until January, this Warriors team is looking for someone to step up and give this team an extra punch on the offensive side of the ball. So far it looks as if Poole is ready for the challenge, as he's been extremely impressive with his play during preseason games.

As of now, it looks like Jordan Poole is expected to take the starting spot in the backcourt alongside Stephen Curry. If Poole can continue to be a scoring boost for this Warriors team, it gives them another dangerous weapon to work with. Poole has the ability to light it up from all over the floor in a hurry. Even with Thompson's return, Poole could find himself earning serious minutes in this Warriors rotation moving forward.

#1 Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry should be the engine again for the Golden State Warriors

It shouldn't be much of a surprise that if the Warriors are going to be successful this year, it's going to be because of one player. Stephen Curry has been absolutely sensational for the Warriors over the last several years. He's been asked to carry the load while the team has dealt with a number of injuries, and he's done that and more for this organization. Last year, Curry went on to average 32.0 points per game while shooting 42.1% from three-point range. That's the highest points per game Curry has had since 2015-16. It's safe to say that Curry continues to wow us with his play on the basketball court. With the way this team is shaping up, we could be in for another eye-opening display from the electric sharpshooter.
