3 reasons why Carmelo Anthony does not deserve to win an NBA championship

#1 He never sacrifices for the team

This is one of the key reasons why Carmelo does not deserve an NBA title. He does not make personal sacrifices for the team to flourish. One example for this accusation is that he was not willing to come off the bench when he was with the Oklahoma City Thunder for one awkward season. When asked by the reporters at the beginning of the season if he would consider the idea of coming off the bench to help the team, he replied with "Who, Me ?" and laughed at the idea.

Though one can say that he sacrificed the number of touches and that his numbers took a dip when on the Thunder, it does not qualify as a sacrifice because everyone including Carmelo himself knew that it would happen once he decided to join OKC.

His stubbornness in refusing to even consider the idea of coming off the bench hurt the team's chances as Anthony would have been a better fit if he had come off the bench and run the offense. It would have helped the team immensely but Anthony did not consider it.
