#1 Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond Partnership
Blake Griffin virtually wrote off following his move to the Pistons. Experts believed that Griffin's game wouldn't age well, and were also critical over his ability to stay fit due to a series of bad injuries he had suffered over the last three years. Despite the doubts, the 29-year-old looks as though he is back to his best as the power forward is currently averaging a career-high of 25.1 points per game.
Griffin has also successfully complemented the longtime star of the team, Andre Drummond. The 25-year-old currently leads the NBA in rebounds, and just like Griffin, he is proving to be a regular source of points for the Pistons (18.7 PPG). The two bigs have quickly formed a dominant partnership, akin to last years Pelican pairing of DaMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis. The Pistons pair should both be named to the All-Star team in 2019, although they may ultimately have their eyes on a much bigger goal, the NBA finals.
