The Milwaukee Bucks run a campaign against committing fouls, aiming to reduce the possibility of a free throw attempt at the opposition, which is in fact an easy shot, but they'd rather have their opponents toil for points. In the 2020-21 NBA season, the reigning champions were the second team with the least number of personal fouls committed (1,244). They were only behind Orlando Magic, who had committed 1,237 personal fouls in the season.

The Bucks have led the league in defensive rebounds per game over the past three seasons, completing an average of 40.4, 42.2 and 37.8 defensive rebounds in the 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 NBA seasons, respectively. This is hinged on the Bucks' tactical strength in forcing their opponents to miss a shot without fouling them and in turn regaining possession for a possible fast break. It is expected to play out again in the 2021-22 NBA season.

The trio cost a combined whopping $540.5 million and they are worth every penny. With Middleton having penned a $177.5 million five-year deal that commenced in 2019-20, Holiday and Antetokounmpo signed a $135 million and $228 million deal that would commence in the 2021-22 NBA season over a four-year and five-year span respectively.

Antetokounmpo led the team in points, field goals, free throws and rebounds, and Middleton led in assists while placing second in points, steals, defensive rebounds, free throws and field goals. Holiday wasn't left out of the party as he led the team in steals, placing third in points, assists, field goals and blocks. With all three healthy, the Bucks should have a field day in the coming season.
