Philly are yet to right the wrongs from last season

After undergoing surgery on his left hand, Joel Embiid is scheduled to miss considerable time as his team continues to slip on the East standings; they are currently 28-16 (0.636), at the 6th spot.

The Sixers could use some reinforcements heading into the second half of the season, and Marcus Morris seems like a fair bid right now. With Al Horford not having been as effective as was initially expected, Morris can play the four.

Given the 30-year-old's hot shooting streak and a neck injury that has been bothering him all season, now is the time for Philly to make the final move before the newfound star fades away. He can shoot and is tough enough to play center, while also shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 82.2 percent from the free-throw line.

With Embiid expected to be out till All-Star break, the Sixers are unlikely to enter to the playoffs as a top-4 seed in the East. And they would need a spark like Morris to make a promising run.
