#2 Pick and roll game

The pick-and-roll game continues to be one of the most important parts of the game today. Usually, you'll see several offensive sets that involve some sort of action involving the pick-and-roll game.

The Warriors are no different, as they do a great job of making defenses react quickly to the pick-and-roll game, while also surrounding the rest of the perimeter with lethal shooting threats. While the Warriors aren't known specifically for their usage of the pick-and-roll game, things could change with the likes of James Wiseman and even Nemanja Bjelica this year.

As of now, it seems as if the Warriors will focus on using smaller lineups to confuse the defense. There's even potential that the Warriors could use some smaller players as screeners to cause confusion to the defense.
#1 Screens

This is what the Golden State Warriors do better than any opposing team in the NBA. The Warriors stand out with their ability to screen away from the ball. Instead of focusing their efforts on screening in the pick-and-roll, Golden State makes it a point to screen defenders away from the ball.
In fact, the Warriors were number one in the NBA last season when it came to screening off the ball. It shows just how important the idea of screening is with the offense of the Golden State Warriors. Movement away from the ball can create openings for players, especially when you have the shooting ability that players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have.
But it also creates openings for other players to get more efficient shots. By moving without the ball and setting screens away from the ballhandler, it gives opposing defenses several variations to have to adjust to.
Golden State will continue to be a dangerous offensive team this season, and if they can get Klay Thompson back at full health, it's going to be a nightmare for teams across the NBA.
