#2 Backcourt Rotation
This will be one of the most important situations to monitor throughout the early portion of the regular season. With so many new additions to the roster, the Clippers need to figure out their backcourt. Unfortunately, the backcourt is going to be a lot smaller. It will feature two players sharing the floor at the same time who are both known as point guards. From there, the Clippers don't have a lot of consistent depth to go to.
Terance Mann is hopefully going to take a big step forward for Los Angeles this year, but you could argue the Clippers are rolling the dice on Mann becoming a Sixth Man of the Year type of presence. The Clippers also have Luke Kennard as an option, but Kennard has struggled with consistency ever since signing as a free agent a couple of years ago. It looks as if the team will start the year without Reggie Jackson and Eric Bledsoe taking control of things. If that doesn't work out for the Clippers, they could be scrambling to find a solution in a hurry.

#1 No Kawhi Leonard
It's hard to ignore how big of a loss one of the best players in the NBA is going to be. With Kawhi Leonard expecting to potentially be out the entire year, the Clippers are going to be in a tough spot. Now, they need to find a way to try to manage the loss on both sides of the floor. This will mean that it's time for Paul George to be the man again. At least the Clippers have a chance to lean on another star type of player. If Paul George can bring back his old days of being the go-to option offensively, there's a chance this could work for Los Angeles. But on nights in which PG13 struggles, the Clippers are going to need to find someone else to step up and provide some offense.
