#3 Kawhi Leonard

The Claw is one of the players on this list who have won an NBA championship. Even though he ranks third, his achievements are incredible. He led the Toronto Raptors to their first and only championship in 2018-19 winning a Finals MVP along the way for his spectacular performance.

But 2019 wasn't the only year Kawhi Leonard put up a championship-winning finals performance. He had a deeply impactful performance in the 2014 San Antonio Spurs vs Miami Heat finals. Leonard was only 22 then and was already helping the Spurs defeat a seemingly undefeatable Heat squad.
#2 Kevin Durant

The number two spot on this list is taken by the one and only - Slim Reaper. Kevin Durant is the kind of player that is discussed decades after their exit from the league. He will be placed alongside the likes of Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, and Kobe Bryant once he leaves the NBA for future ventures.
Durant has been an 11 time All-Star, two time Finals MVP, two-time regular-season MVP, two-time NBA champ, and the 2007-08 Rookie of the year. He is one of the most prolific scorers the league has ever seen. He has a career average of 27 points and 7.1 rebounds.
Durant debuted for the Seattle Supersonics and has since then played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and Brooklyn Nets. It would be surprising if any of these teams other than the now defunct Seattle team do not retire KD's jersey.
#1 LeBron James

LeBron James started his NBA career unlike any other 19-year-old player. He was a star even before he played a single game in the league. He was perhaps the most anticipated player to ever be drafted before Zion Williamson's phenomenon.
The Cleveland Cavaliers selected James as their first overall pick and the rest is history. The young player from Ohio, whose mother fought to bring food to the table, would go on to become one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the game. His dominance, his will, his winning stride are all unparalleled.
LeBron James has won an NBA Championship with every team he has represented. He has also won an NBA Finals MVP with the LA Lakers and Cavs, and two with the Miami Heat. His legacy is unprecedented and will motivate younger generations for decades to come. There is absolutely no doubt that the Lakers, Heat, and Cavaliers will all retire his jersey the day King James bids his final goodbye to the league.
