Bradley Beal's 2020-21 NBA season has been a struggle so far. Individually, he has been tremendous and is leading the league in scoring, with an average of over 35 points per night. However, his Washington Wizards own the worst winning percentage in the NBA.

Repeatedly, Beal has put up huge numbers, but the Wizards can't find a way to win. Against the Philadelphia 76ers on January 6th, Beal scored a career-high 60 points in a losing effort against one of the East's elite teams.

He also grabbed seven rebounds and recorded five assists on the night. Beal made 20 of his 35 shots from the field and seven of his 10 attempts from the three-point line.

On January 3rd, the Golden State Warriors had a 2-3 record in the NBA season, and they were coming off a 25-point loss against the Portland Trail Blazers. At that point, Stephen Curry had struggled to find his rhythm and had made 42% of his field goals and 32% of his threes.

However, in the second consecutive game against Portland, Curry made a huge statement. Curry scored a career-high 62 points on the night on 31 field goals. He gave Golden State the win and made eight three-pointers in the night.

He put up 21 points in the first quarter of the game and ended the first half with 31. Curry scored 31 points in the second half to finish the greatest scoring game of his unique NBA career.

On January 20th, the big storyline around the NBA globe was the debut of the Brooklyn Nets' Big Three with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and JAmes Harden. They made their Big Three debut against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Collin Sexton simply spoiled their night.

In a game that needed two overtime periods to determine the winner, Sexton had a wild night with 42 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Sexton scored 22 points in the two overtime periods (15 only in the second OT) and guided Cleveland's 12-point win over the Nets and their Big Three.

He even made a clutch three-pointer to send the game to the second OT period. Overall, Sexton is having a career year, averaging 25 points per night.
