In year four of Chris Paul's six-year run with the Hornets, they hosted the Milwaukee Bucks in what ended in another narrow victory. The Hornets had a comfortable lead throughout the first three quarters, but an inspired run by the Bucks in the fourth quarter almost cost them the game.

It was a ridiculously low-scoring game for Chris Paul, in fact, the lowest in the 2008-09 season. He ended the game with nine points, but his assists tally was outstanding.

The Hornets ended the game with a total of 39 assists, and Paul was responsible for 21 of them. In addition to that were 19 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
