Over the years, Skip Bayless has been known to say some outlandish things on television. His latest incident happened this week when he touched on the horrific incident involving Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin. That being said, here are five of the longtime TV host's most insane statements.

1) NBA Draft thoughts

Over the past decade, the NBA has become a global game. Looking at the league today, most of the top players are from outside the United States. That being said, Skip Bayless made an outrageous comment regarding draft strategy back in 2012.

Still on ESPN's "First Take" at the time, Bayless chimed in how teams should assess incoming prospects. It was there that he stated that he would never take an American-born white player in the first round.

2) Skip Bayless takes shot at Dwight Howard

During his peak, Dwight Howard was one of the most dominant big men in the NBA. He led the Orlando Magic to the NBA Finals and had a successful run alongside James Harden with the Houston Rockets.

Back in 2018, Howard came at Skip Bayless and his credibility saying that he has minimal sports experience. He quickly clapped back at the three-time Defensive Player of the Year with a comment that nobody saw coming.

"Well at least I don't look like Tarzan and sometimes play like Jane."

3) Skip comments on his sex life

Most of the time, Skip Bayless keeps his comments to the world of sports. However, there have been instances where he's taken things too far when talking about himself as well.

Given his TV persona, it's clear that Bayless is a confident person. He proved this in 2012 during an interview with Men's Journal. While speaking with Woody Paige, Bayless felt the need to compare his sex life to those around him.

"'I've had more sex than all of you people combined."

4) Skip opens up on being "ripped"

Sticking with Skip Bayless and his ego, he once felt the need to dive into his physique during an interview with the New York Observer. Despite not being that big of a person, Bayless considered himself to be "jacked."

"I'm pretty ripped. The pressure of the show drains me. It's why I work out so hard. It's why I'm jacked. I have to be able to stand up to the beating of it."

5) Skip leaves LeBron James out of his top five in NBA

Back in 2006, Skip Bayless sat across from Stephen A. Smith on ESPN. During a segment where they had to rank the top five players in the NBA, Bayless let out an absurd take.

While making his list, he openly left LeBron James out of his top five. On top of that, he put Carmelo Anthony ahead of him.

LeBron may not have had any accolades at the time, but it was clear he was going to be the face of the league. To leave him off a top-five list at that stage of his career is completely egregious.
