#3 Tracy McGrady

Tracy McGrady

After starting his career off with the Toronto Raptors, McGrady took a leap in his first season with the Orlando Magic in 2000. He averaged 26.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game and quickly became one the league’s most dominant, talented players. Magic traded McGrady to the Houston Rockets in 2004 where he would go on to team up with a fellow injury-riddled superstar, Yao Ming.

In May 2008, McGrady underwent arthroscopic surgery on both his left shoulder and left knee and missed the rest of the season. The nagging knee issues led to McGrady spending the rest of his NBA career struggling in backup minutes with the Pistons, Knicks, Hawks, and Spurs. McGrady was a 7-time all-star, 2-time NBA scoring champion, and 7-time All-NBA selection.
