In contention for the MVP title, James Harden is having a historical season in terms of his sheer offensive prowess. After having a supersonic start to the season, Harden has been in a slump for a while and is still averaging 34.9 points, 7.4 assists, and 6.3 rebounds this season by shooting nearly 44% from the field.

The guard is arguably the best scorer in the league right now and his defense seems to be improving every week. Under the Mike D'Antoni system, Harden's one-on-one ability stands out and is one of the reasons why he has 4.4 turnovers on average as he takes on players all the time and ends up losing possession some of the time.

The leading man for the Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young has been on a roll this season. He is averaging 29.6 points, dishing out 9.3 assists while grabbing 4.3 rebounds per game this year and is shooting nearly 44% from the field.
Despite the poor year the Hawks are having, the guard is having his best season and that warranted him an All-Star selection this term. The range from which he drains three-pointers makes him a threat the second he crosses halfcourt and is one of the hardest players to guard in the league.
With the amount of workload assigned to him by the franchise, Young leads the league in most turnovers this season with an average of 4.8 per game. His no-look passes, fancy dribbling, and his ridiculous shots make him an entertainer but at the same time cause him to turn the ball over. He will be hoping to end the season well for the Hawks.
