#3 Jrue Holiday – 85
The Milwaukee Bucks’ superstar was arguably the best defender on the roster last season and was given the responsibility of guarding the oppositions’ best players. Holiday was able to raise his game when his team needed him the most and came up clutch multiple times during the Playoffs.
He finished with an impressive overall statline of 17.7 points, 6.1 assists and 4.5 rebounds along with 1.6 steals with a shooting efficiency of 57%. Overall, Holiday deserves to be rated in the late 90s and can be forgiven for thinking that his performances warrant a 90+ overall as well.

#2 Zion Williamson – 89
The 20-year old Zion Williamson will be happy with his 89 overall. However, he had a rating of 90 in NBA 2K21 and had a comprehensively better sophomore year in the NBA. He has developed into one of the most fearsome players at the rim in the NBA and has shown widespread improvement in multiple categories.
Zion Williamson had 27 points, 3.7 assists and 7.2 rebounds per game last season whilst shooting at 62.25 overall. In such a scenario, Williamson deserved to at least hold on to his 90 overall, especially considering that the NBA 2K22 has given higher overalls to players who haven’t played as much.
#1 Nikola Jokic – 95
Nikola Jokic, according to the NBA 2K series, performed at the same level the past season as he did the year before. This is obviously not true, as Jokic produced his career-best season with respect to points, efficiency, usage rate, assists, rebounds and free throw percentage.
He led the Denver Nuggets all the way to the Western Conference Semifinals despite the injured Jamal Murray, and deserved to be given an upgrade from the 95 overall from NBA 2K21. Regardless, Jokic is another player who is expected to be given a better overall as the season progresses.
