Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has recorded the second-most appearances for the Los Angeles Lakers with 1093. Considered the greatest center of all time and one of the greatest players of all time, Kareem was one of the global icons for the NBA in the 1980s.

Kareem played in the league for 20 years, with the Lakers acquiring him in 1975 from the Milwaukee Bucks after being drafted as the first overall pick in 1969. He scored over 24,000 points for the franchise while amassing over 38,000 points in his career. He along with Magic Johnson were the leading men of the "Showtime" era for the Lakers.

Kareem's trademark move "Skyhook" was an unstoppable move that bagged him a lot of buckets. He won six championships in his career, five with the Lakers. He holds the record for the most MVPs (six) and the most All-Star appearances (19) along with numerous other records.

Kobe is widely recognized as one of the greatest players to ever play the game and was the standard his peers aspired to be. Bryant holds the franchise record for the most field goals made, most minutes played and also the most steals. He averaged 25 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game while shooting nearly 45% from the field.
