#3 Oldest MVP in NBA history
Last season, LeBron James looked like a big candidate for the NBA MVP award during the early stages of the 2020-21 NBA season. With James playing at a high level and the LA Lakers putting up a solid regular season, 'The King' could definitely be in contention for the award in the upcoming 2021-22 campaign.
If James wins the NBA Most Valuable Player award next year, it would be the fifth of his illustrious career.

It would put him in second place all-time, tied with Bill Russell and Michael Jordan and one behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's sixth.
At age 37, he would also become the oldest winner of the award, breaking Karl Malone's record on the 1998-99 NBA season, when he won the award at age 35.
#2 Become the seventh member of the 10,000-assist club
LeBron James has been a willing passer throughout his NBA career, and that has enabled him to have big passing stats.
Throughout his illustrious 18-year career, LeBron James has an average of 7.8 assists per game in the regular season. In terms of assist total, James is eighth in NBA history with 9,696 career assists.
In the 2021-22 NBA season, James has the chance to become the seventh member of the 10,000-assist club, alongside John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Mark Jackson, Chris Paul, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson.
He is 304 assists away from 10,000 and LeBron James has surpassed that number in every season of his career; he even did it last year, when he played just 45 regular-season games.
#1 LeBron James could reach second place in the NBA's all-time scoring list
LeBron James should be considered one of the best scorers in NBA history, and he should also be described as an offensive player whose most dominant ability is, in fact, scoring.
Accordingly, James' scoring dominance has him third in the all-time scoring list, and it is not only a matter of longevity, as he has the sixth-best scoring average in league history at 27 points per game.
James has scored 35,367 points in the regular season and is 1,561 points behind Karl Malone for second place in NBA history. He has failed to reach that number in a single season only twice in his career.
If he plays 70 games next year and averages 22.5 points per game (lowest since his rookie year), he would surpass Malone. He also has a chance to reach 37,000 career points, a milestone only achieved by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in league history.
