Jazz rookie had himself a career night against the Pelicans, leading his team to a 108-114 victory with a stat line of 41 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast, 13-25 FG, 6-12 3P FG.

WOW! He is the first rookie to crack the 40-point barrier this season.

He joins Steph Curry, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant and Eric Gordon as only active players to have scored 40+ points in a game as rookies. He's in good company on that list.

Mitchell is highly regarded by many around the league and say he is a future star. He seems to be headed in the right direction surely.
