After adding Kevin Durant in the off-season, Warriors only bolstered their already powerful team and were causing problems to opposition teams every night during the 2016-17 regular season. They went into every game as favourites and were having one more great season.

Warriors were pitted against the Denver Nuggets for a regular season game in February and Curry had a disappointing game as he only scored 11 points and was ridiculous -24 on the game.

The Nuggets did a great job of contesting Curry's shots and never really allowed him to take open shots. He also found it difficult to get to the rim which is evident as he went for 4-18 from the field.

For Denver, Juan Hernangomez and Wilt Barton combined for 51 points on 18-36 shooting and the Nuggets beat Warriors, 132-110.
