Kevin Garnett

Kevin Garnett was drafted as the fifth overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He later changed the fortunes of the franchise as he led them to their first playoff appearance in their franchise history. His brilliance grew better every season eventually carrying the team to the Playoffs for eight successive seasons.

Later in 2007, Garnett was traded to the Boston Celtics in an enormous 7-for-1 deal with the Timberwolves. This deal became meaningful after Boston went on to beat the Los Angeles Lakers to win their 17th franchise title with Garnett finishing 26 points and 14 rebounds in Game 6.
