Today we are going to talk about one such individual who has been a coach the several different NBA teams since 2008. After 15 years in the NBA as an assistant coach, Adrian Griffin became the head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2023 off-season. The Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard were supposed to be title contenders but due to an underwhelming start Bucks fired Griffin in January 2024.

Born in Wichita, Kansas, Adrian Griffin began his coaching career with the Milwaukee Bucks. He worked with the team for two seasons after which he became an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls. Adrian coached the team for five years, which is the longest run he has had in his career so far.

In 2018, Adrian joined the Toronto Raptors and was the assistant coach for the team till 2022. During his time with the team, the Raptors won the NBA championship the year after his joining. This earned Adrian his first-ever championship ring and an achievement to add to his resume.

It is not easy for a player to turn into a coach, not many have been able to have success in doing so. Things worked out well for Adrian Griffin, as he spent his years learning from great coaches and caught up to the system. After winning the NBA championship, Adrian found himself to be one of the known recruits for coaching.
