In the 2023-24 season, Sengun averaged 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. He finished the season as one of three centers in the league to record 1000+ points and 300+ assists alongside Nikola Jokic and Domantas Sabonis. However, Sengun suffered an injury at the crucial end of the season and missed 18 games, which hurt the Rockets' playoff chances as they fell short of their playoff push against the Golden State Warriors.
