Anthony Davis, also known as "AD,” began his NBA journey with the New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans). In his debut year itself, he delivered outstanding performances, averaging 13.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game, and was named on the All-Rookie First Team.

Over the years with New Orleans, AD kept on improving and cementing his position as one of the top players in the NBA. With his exceptional performances in the seven years with the Pelicans, AD led the team to two playoffs.

In 2019, Davis was traded to the LA Lakers, where he teamed up with the legendary LeBron James. The superstar duo were unstoppable in 2020, bringing the NBA championship to the Lakers. The title marked the end of a decade-long wait for the Lakers.

With a towering height of 6 feet 10 inches, Anthony Davis is an all-round player. His 7 feet 5-inch wingspan helps him be elite on both ends of the court. AD is an eight-time All-Star, and has four All-NBA First Team selections, and four All-Defensive Team selections. He was also named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021.

Anthony Davis made his NBA debut in 2012. He was drafted first overall by the New Orleans Hornets, now known as the Pelicans. Before the NBA, Davis showcased extraordinary talents at the University of Kentucky, where he played for one season.

In college, Davis averaged an impressive 14.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, and an astounding 4.7 blocks per game. He shot 62.3% from the field.

Davis was not just another college basketball player, his exceptional play and towering height made him stand out. Under his leadership, the Wildcats won the NCAA championship. Recognizing his achievements and dominance, he was awarded a consensus First Team All-American and also earned the coveted title of National Player of the Year.
