Anthony Edwards is an American professional basketball player who goes by “Ant” or “Ant-man.” He plays basketball in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Born on August 5th, 2001, Edwards’ journey with basketball began when he played at the high school named Holy Spirit High School in Atlanta. As a McDonald All-American and SEC Freshman of the Year, Edwards was recognized as a 5-star recruit by the end of his high school career. Transitioning into college basketball, Edwards decided to play at the University of Georgia where he was widely recognized for his ability as a prolific scorer.

Interestingly, Edwards was also a very good football player during high school. Edwards was drafted as the 1st overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
