Are the Thompson Twins Identical?
Amen and Ausar are identical twins. The 20-year-olds are fairly similar to one another but not identical when it comes to their game, like any set of twins who play basketball. They are both roughly 200 pounds at 6' 7 and with 6' 11 wingspans. This also applies to their games, which have comparable strengths and weaknesses but have a few areas where each player somewhat outperforms the other. The other closely follows whatever one of them performs at a high level.
Here are Amen’s stats:
20.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 4.1 turnovers, 1.0 blocks, 3.1 steals.
Here are Ausar’s stats:
Ausar: 21.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 4.5 turnovers, 1.6 blocks, 3.5 steals.
The identical twins Amen and Ausar Thompson took an unusual route to the upcoming NBA Draft, but their blazing athleticism and next-level talent have allowed them to establish themselves as potential top-five picks.
