The Atlanta Hawks tangle with the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season. A win by the Hawks will end the season series in a 2-2 tie. Trae Young, following an impressive 43-point explosion against the Phoenix Suns less than 24 hours ago, will lead the Hawks.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have a dual goal when they host the Hawks. They want to snap out of a two-game losing streak and win the head-to-head duel with the Hawks. Like the Hawks, Chicago will play on short rest, so it will be interesting to see which team has more energy.

Atlanta Hawks vs Chicago Bulls preview

Trae Young has proven time and again that when he's on, the Atlanta Hawks are tough to beat. Ice Trae delivered an impressive performance in the Hawks’ win over the Phoenix Sun on Tuesday. Despite playing minus key players, Atlanta edged Kevin Durant and Co.

The Hawks will again miss key players Jalen Johnson, De'Andre Hunter and Larry Nance Jr. when they visit the Bulls. If the diminutive point guard has another superb outing, they could have a good chance of walking away with a win.

The Chicago Bulls need a big boost from their bench to beat their visitors on Wednesday. Bulls coach Billy Donovan has to coax more out of the reserves, who haven't stepped up to support the starters for most of the season. Lonzo Ball, Matas Buzelis, Talen Horton-Tucker, Jalen Smith and the second-stringers must punch their weight to help the team.

Atlanta Hawks vs Chicago Bulls betting tips

Coby White has played well against the Hawks this season, averaging 20.3 points per game on 46.5% shooting. Chicago will need him to carry the scoring load with Zach LaVine, making it likely for him to top his 18.5 (O/U) points prop.

Trae Young is averaging 17.3 PPG this season when he plays the second night of a back-to-back set. He had 14 points on Nov. 9 when the Hawks lost to the Chicago Bulls 125-113, which was the back end of two consecutive games. Ice Trae could fail to hit the over in his 28.5 (O/U) points prop on Wednesday.

Atlanta Hawks vs Chicago Bulls prediction

Both teams will play on short rest, but the Bulls have the advantage, as they will be on their home floor. The quick turnaround time will favor the healthier hosts, who will likely snap out of their losing streak.
