A first win in 2025 is on the agenda for the LA Clippers and Atlanta Hawks as they lock horns at Intuit Dome on Saturday. Both teams head into the game on two-game losing skids and will be desperate to turn the tide.

The Hawks have been one of the surprise packages this campaign, tipped to secure a playoff spot after missing out last season. Before back-to-back losses, they were on a four-game winning streak, including victories against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors. They will be hoping that the recent defeats were just a blip.

The Clippers are also going through a similar path, winning six of their last eight games to steer them to the seventh in the Western Conference. However, losses to the San Antonio Spurs and OKC Thunder to start 2025 mean that they will be looking to improve on their consistency and grind out a morale-boosting result on Saturday.

Beating top teams has always been a major issue for them this season. With Kawhi Leonard set to make his long-awaited return, there is cause for optimism among their fans.

Cody Zeller did not suit up against the LA Lakers on Friday for personal reasons. His status for the Clippers game is still up in the air.

Quin Snyder will likely go with this starting lineup: Zacharie Risacher, Jalen Johnson, Clint Capela, Trae Young and Dyson Daniels.
