The Australian men’s national basketball team, commonly known as the Boomers, is going to play in the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Australia has already announced its 18-man extended roster that will showcase its talent in the 2023 FIBA World Cup. This team includes a round figure of 10 NBA players including Josh Giddey, Patty Mills, and Joe Ingles.
Australia announced the information about the players in its squad after getting qualified in the World Cup Draw that took place on April 29. The head coach of the Australian men’s basketball team, Brian Goorjian said that the extended squad will lead the nation to a way to the World Cup trophy.
