Three-time All-Star Bam Adebayo is an American Basketball player who plays as a power forward or center for the Miami Heat in the NBA as of March 2025. Born on July 18, 1997, in New Jersey, USA, Adebayo initially attended the High Point Christian School to start his high school basketball career. In 2016, he won the North Carolina Mr. Basketball title and was also selected to play in the McDonald All-American game. Later, he went to the Kentucky Wildcats to play college basketball, and after winning several accolades there, he declared for the 2017 NBA draft.

Adebayo was selected as the 14th overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat. Over the eight seasons with the Miami Heat, Adebayo is averaging 15.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. In the 2023-24 season, the duo of Adebayo and Jimmy Butler showcased an outstanding performance and helped the Miami Heat push through to the 2023 NBA Finals after being 8th-seeded in the playoffs. In the 2022-23 season, Adebayo scored an average of 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game in 75 regular season games. Playing as the forward is playing his 8th NBA season and has earned 5 NBA All-Defensive team honors consecutively from 2020-24.
