
Blake Demond Hinson is a professional American basketball small forward for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G-League. He started his collegiate basketball career at Ole Miss, averaging 8.3 points and 2.9 rebounds during his freshman season. He transferred twice, first to Iowa State, where he did not play because of an injury, and then to Pittsburgh in 2022. During his time at Pittsburgh, Hinson received first-team All-ACC honors in his senior season, as per Pittsburgh Panthers' official website. He averaged 18.5 points per game and broke the school record for made three-pointers with 110, as per Basketball Reference.
Hinson declared for the 2024 NBA Draft but was unfortunately not drafted. In spite of signing a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, he was waived two months later in September 2024. However, he signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors seven days later. As per NBA G League stats, he has averaged 20.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 34 appearances he played for the Santa Cruz, as of April 2025.
