Washington, Jan 19 (IANS) The Portland Trail Blazers beat the Dallas Mavericks 127-111 for their fifth straight victory.
The Blazers moved past the San Antonio Spurs with a 31-9 record after the win Saturday night to get the top-spot in the strong Western Conference, reports Xinhua.
The Blazers were lead the league with 109.1 points per game after 40 games in this season.
LaMarcus Aldridge topped the game with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Nicolas Batum got 21 points, including three three-pointers. Centre Robin Lopez added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Dirk Nowitzki finished with a team-high 18 points. Monta Ellis made 15. Jae Crowder and DeJuan Blair contributed 13 points apiece from the bench.
