Born on August 18, 1992, in Belgrade, Serbia, Bogdan Bogdanovic plays for the Atlanta Hawks. As a shooting guard, he is known for his offensive output for the Hawks off the bench.
Bogdanovic was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 27th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. However, he returned to Europe, and played for Partizan Belgrade and Fenerbahce. He won two EuroLeague Rising star awards in 2014 and 2015, as well winning the EuroLeague in 2017 with Fenerbahce.
Bogdanovic was also named on the EuroLeague 2010-2020 All-Decade Team. He returned back to the NBA in 2017, after his draft rights were traded to the Sacramento Kings, and made his debut on October 23 against Phoenix Suns.
As a shooting wing, Bogdanovic is great at catch-and-shoot situations and creating good looks for himself. His playing style is similar to Buddy Hield, with both of them coming off the bench and averaging more than six 3-point shot attempts per game.

Bogdan Bogdanovic was signed as a free-agent by the Atlanta Hawks, on a four-year $72 million deal. The Sacramento Kings had the chance to match the offer and then push the Hawks for a sign-and-trade, but the Kings refused.
In earlier drama, Kings had traded “Bogi” to the Bucks in a sign-and-trade, who were caught tampering with the rules and the deal was nullified. The Bucks were fined a 2022 second round pick for the same.
