Bruno Afonso David Fernandes, known as Bruno Fernando, is a professional Angolan basketball player who plays for the Toronto Raptors in the NBA as of November 2024. Fernando attended Montverde Academy before transferring to IMG Academy. After completing high school, he joined the Maryland Terrapins, representing the University of Maryland. He played the Terrapins for two years, appearing in 64 games, starting in 53 of them, and recording 770 points, 558 rebounds, and 89 assists as per his college profile. As a sophomore, Fernando played all 34 games, averaging 13.6 points and 10.6 rebounds.
In 2019, he was named to the First-Team All-Big Ten and the Big Ten All-Defensive Team. Fernando also played for the Angolan team at various levels.
