Caleb Martin is a 6-foot-5-inch American small forward who plays for the Miami Heat in the NBA. The North Carolina native was undrafted out of Nevada in the 2019 NBA Draft. He is one of the many undrafted players on the Heat’s roster who have carved out a key role since his signing in 2021.

Martin initially attended the Oak Hill Academy for his high school basketball. Later, he along with his twin brother Cody, attended North Carolina State for college before finally joining Nevada for the last two years of their NCAA careers.

Martin’s career-highlight till date was the seven-game series against the Boston Celtics in the 2023 playoffs. He put up excellent numbers on the board, averaging 19.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in the seven games. He shot 60.2% from the field, including 48.9% from the 3-point line in the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals.

Last season, Martin alongside superstar Jimmy Butler and forward Bam Adebayo, were instrumental in taking the Heat to the NBA Finals. In the 2023 playoffs, Martin averaged 12.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.

Caleb Martin is set to earn a handsome salary of $6.8 million for the 2023/24 NBA season. Martin earned $6.4 million in the first year of the contract. The deal has reserved the forward until the 2024/25 season with a player option in the final year.
