Can fans attend NBA Summer League games? Tournament venues and more

The 2024 Summer League will feature all the best names from the 2024 NBA draft. As the offseason is still in play, the rookies will have the opportunity to make their case for a position on their team’s roster. Moreover, the tournament will also allow second-year NBA players and undrafted players to make their case.

The Summer League games are not only aired on TV but will also be available for the fans to attend in the arenas that will host them. This year, the SL game will have three different competitions that will see all 30 teams participate.

The Summer League will be organized over the next few weeks in different parts of the nation. Tipping off the proceedings will be the California Classic Summer League, followed by the Salt Lake City Summer League and the NBA 2K25 Summer League. These competitions will see three groups of teams compete against each other.

What are the tournament venues and dates for the Summer League?

California Classic Summer League [July 6-7, 9-10]

The California Classic Summer League will take place between July 6-7 and July 9-10. Chase Center in San Francisco, which is the Golden State Warriors arena, and Golden 1 Center, which is the Sacramento Kings arena, will host all of the 12 games.

Four teams in San Francisco: Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings 2, and four teams in Sacramento: Charlotte Hornets, Kings 1, San Antonio Spurs and Chinese National Team, will participate in this California Classic SL.

Salt Lake City Summer League [July 8-10]

This will be the ninth consecutive year that the Salt Lake SL is being organized. All games for the event will be played at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, which is also the game arena of the Utah Jazz.

Players from four teams will participate in the event. They are the Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and Jazz.

NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 [July 12-22]

Las Vegas will host the 20th year of the Summer League of the NBA. All 30 teams will be participating in this competition. Moreover, a total of 76 games will be played in 11 days.

All 76 matchups will be played in Las Vegas at Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of UNLV. Each team will play four games from the start date to July 19. Based on that, the top four teams will be selected for the semifinals.

The winners of the semifinals will meet each other in the final on July 22, and the winner will be crowned the champion of the NBA SL.
