
Caris LeVert is an American shooting guard/small forward who plays for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA as of March 2025. LeVert emerged as a standout basketball player at Pickerington High School Central, where he led his team to a state championship. After high school, LeVert went to the University of Michigan, where he played four seasons before declaring for the NBA draft. In college, LeVert averaged 10.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in four seasons.
Since getting drafted into the league in 2016, LeVert has played for three teams as of April 2024 (Brooklyn Nets, Indiana Pacers, and now the Cavaliers). The Indiana Pacers selected Caris LeVert with the 20th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. However, his rights were subsequently traded to the Brooklyn Nets, where he spent his first five seasons.
