There are five preseason games scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 10 including the Charlotte Hornets vs Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum. The Hornets are 1-1 this preseason, while the Grizzlies won their first preseason game on Monday night.

Charlotte opened its preseason with a 111-109 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. They followed that up by beating the Miami Heat 111-108 at the Spectrum Center on Tuesday. Coach Charles Lee used the same starting lineups in both games while increasing their minutes from the first game to the next.

On the other hand, the Grizzlies are coming off a 121-116 win over the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center. Ja Morant suffered a minor ankle injury and is now considered day-to-day. Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies were fairly quiet in free agency and only parted ways with Ziaire Williams via trade. The Grizzlies are hoping to get back into contention with Ja Morant back into the fold. Their biggest move this summer was drafting Zach Edey, who looks like a perfect fit after just one preseason game.
