The Hornets are looking to rebound from a 13th-place finish last season, where they had a 21-61 record. Things are looking up for Charlotte in the preseason, having won two out of three games. The Hornets last played the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, a game they won 119-94. Brandon Miller led the winning effort with 22 points.
After the Knicks traded for Karl-Anthony Towns, there were questions if the team had gotten better. Those questions seem to have been laid to rest for now. New York is unbeatable in the preseason and is coming off of a 115-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
