For the second time this season, the Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers matchup is happening on Wednesday night. It's part of the eight-game schedule of the NBA for Jan. 8. The Pacers outlasted the Pacers 132-123 in their first meeting on Dec. 6, 2024.

Tyrese Haliburton had 23 points, four rebounds, eight assists and two steals to lead the Pacers. Pascal Siakam scored 17 points, while T.J. McConnell and Obi Toppin both scored 15 points off the bench.

Meanwhile, Zach LaVine put up 32 points, three rebounds and three assists in the nine-point defeat. Coby White had 19 points, four rebounds and nine assists, while Nikola Vucevic contributed 13 points and nine rebounds.

The Bulls won last season's series 3-1, with the Pacers winning it the same way in the 2022-23 NBA season. The all-time head-to-head matchup is also very close with Chicago having a slight edge 106-102.


Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Injury Reports

Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have five players on their injury report and all of them are listed as out. E.J. Liddell and Adama Sanogo are on two-way contracts, while Emanuel Miller is on assignment in the NBA G League.

Only two players are injured – Torrey Craig and Ayo Dosunmu. Craig is dealing with a contusion in his left leg, while Dosunmu has a strained soleus muscle on his right leg.

Pacers

The Indiana Pacers have a whopping seven players on their injury report, but only three are listed as out. RayJ Dennis, Enrique Freeman and Jackson Queston are tagged as questionable due to potential assignment on the NBA G League.

Tyrese Haliburton is also questionable with a sprained right ankle. He'll be evaluated before tip-off before getting downgraded to out or upgraded to available. Aaron Nesmith is recovering from a sprained ankle, while James Wiseman and Isaiah Jackson are out for the season after tearing their left Achilles tendons.
