The Chicago Bulls hit the road for an away fixture against the Indiana Pacers at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday. Both Eastern Conference teams have been trending in the right direction as they come off impressive performances in their last few games. The Pacers have rattled off three wins on the bounce, while the Bulls have recorded two consecutive wins riding on Zach LaVine's rich vein of form.
Chicago edged out the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs before their touchdown in Indiana. While they have yet to hit the .500 mark, their recent 4-1 record in their last five games sees them tenth in the East with a 17-19 record. Indiana, with two more wins, sits eighth with a 19-18 run.
The keyword for both teams heading into Wednesday's matchup is momentum. The Pacers especially will look to build on their winning record as they sweat over star guard Tyrese Haliburton's availability against a relatively healthy Bulls squad. Haliburton played the last two games leading the side to wins over the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets.
The Central Divison rivals last met in Dec. 2024 with the the Pacers winning the contest 132-123. The Bulls will hope to equal the scoreline with two more meetings remaining between the two teams after Wednesday. The Bulls lead the head-to-head race 106-102 in 2018 regular season showdowns.

Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Preview
The Bulls have played some good ball of late, but the larger issues remain. Their mixed campaign continues and their best chance of winning is still their on-the-trade-block LaVine. The wing has shown what a healthy version of him is capable of as he leads the Windy City with 23.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. Another trade asset Nikola Vucevic is propping up 20.5 points and 10.2 rebounds.
Their backcourt is still work in progress with Coby White (18.5 points and 4.6 assists) and Josh Giddey (12.0 points and 6.8 assists) continue to blow hot and cold this season. Not a lot hasn't changed in their approach as the Bulls continue to play with pace and take a shot from the deep extensively.
They are fifth in scoring offense averaging 118.5 PPG and 110.7 points per 100 possessions. They are 12th in FG% (46.7) and ninth in 3-point offense (37.3%) with 43.9 attempts per game from the deep. Defensively, the Bulls are near-bottom with a league-worst 29th place. They allow 113.2 points per 100 possessions and allow an average of 120.0 points per contest.
The Pacers are tenth in the league in scoring offense averaging 115.2 points per game, and 112.7 points per 100 possessions. They average 41.3 rebounds per game to take 28th place and are 22nd in scoring defense allowing their opponents to touch 113.4 points per 100 possessions.
Haliburton continues to be an excellent facilitator and scorer (18.4 points, 8.8 assists), while Myles Turner (15.1 points, 7.0 boards and 2.1 blocks) is their catalyst on defense. Pascal Siakam is their key two-way player averaging 19.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per contest. TJ McConnell (10.6 points and 4.2 assists), and Andew Nembhard (10.2 points) are reliable bench options. Consistency and injuries continue to be a challenge for the side as they look to pull away with a string of wins.
Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Predicted Starting Lineups
The Chicago Bulls will most likely stick to the same lineup from their last game as Torrey Craig (leg contusion) and Ayo Dosunmu (Calf) continue to be sidelined.
The Pacers are without Isaiah Jackson (Right Achilles Tendon tear) and James Wiseman (left Achilles Tendon tear). They may field the same starters from the last game despite Haliburton (right ankle sprain) listed as questionable.
Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Betting Tips
Myles Turner comes in with an o/u of -108/-115 on points. Pascal Siakam is -104/-120 on points. Tyrese Haliburton is -115/-120 on points and assists. For the Bulls, watch out for Zach LaVine with -105/-118 on points and Nikola Vucevic with -105/-120 on points.
Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers Prediction
Both sides come in with wins and the Bulls will need to shore up on their defense if they intend to bag this contest. They will bank on LaVine and Vucevic again to get them past Indiana who can trade buckets at ease. Home advantage and better defense sees the outcome lean towards the Pacers. Take the Pacers to get the better of the Bulls on Wednesday.
