The Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers continue their NBA 2K25 Summer League journey with a matchup on Saturday. Chicago, which held off the Atlanta Hawks in overtime 103-99 less than 24 hours ago, hopes to get another W. The Bulls will be banking on lottery pick Matas Buzelis and D.J. Steward who lit up the Hawks with 37 points.
Meanwhile, the Lakers look to extend their modest two-game winning streak with a victory over the Bulls. After losing the first two games to open its Summer League campaign, LA now carries a 2-2 record. Rookies Dalton Knecht and Bronny James will lead the Tinseltown team.

Chicago Bulls vs. LA Lakers: NBA 2K25 Summer League Rosters
Chicago Bulls Summer League roster
D.J. Steward, an undrafted prospect out of Duke in 2021, turned heads with an explosive game against the Atlanta Hawks. He made 11-of-19 shots, including a dazzling 8-for-14 clip from behind the arc. The unheralded player stole the thunder from Chicago’s lottery pick Matas Buzelis.
Bulls fans will be interested to see how Buzelis rebounds from an underwhelming game versus Atlanta. The No. 11 pick finished with 11 points on 4-for-17 shooting, including 1-for-6 from deep.

LA Lakers Summer League roster
Bronny James has put up back-to-back solid games for the Lakers. In the win against Cleveland, he had 13 points, a career-high in the Summer League, five rebounds and three assists. Many will tune in to see if he can sustain his form.
Dalton Knecht had another quietly effective performance, leading the Lakers in points (20) and rebounds (seven). LA’s coaching staff should be elated with what it has seen from the first-round pick.

Chicago Bulls vs. LA Lakers: Prediction
The Bulls might need another explosive night from D.J. Steward or a big Matas Buzelis bounce-back game to win. They will be playing the second night of a back-to-back schedule so somebody stepping up will be badly needed.
The Lakers are on a roll and their squad has finally shown rhythm on both ends of the floor. They have long stretches where they’ve played with fluidity, so expect LA to run their streak to three wins on Saturday.
