China has qualified for the FIBA World Cup 2023 and will play with its 12-man roster that will represent the whole nation in the tournament. However, this squad doesn’t have any NBA players but despite that it is expected to perform well in the championship.

China will compete with its 12-man squad which consists of top basketball stars from across the country. This year, China will play in Group B with South Sudan, Serbia, and Puerto Rico. Here is a list of all the players to be able to represent China in the upcoming FIBA World Cup.

China World Cup History

The China men’s national basketball team has been playing in the FIBA since 1974. This team is mainly governed by the Chinese Basketball Association and it represents the nation in international basketball matches. China is considered the main basketball hub of the Asia continent. It has received multiple medals in several Asian basketball games. China has won the FIBA Asia Cups 14 out of 16 times between 1975 and 2005. Additionally, China has appeared in 10 FIBA World Cups after its joining in 1974. However, he has not got any medal during his playtime in the FIBA.
