While the Cleveland Cavaliers have endured a disastrous 2018/19 season, it is worth remembering that this is the same roster that reached the NBA Finals last year. While LeBron and Kyle Korver are now gone, the majority of the roster has remained the same, and there is still a number of talented players that can help out contending teams until the end of the season.

Earlier today, the Cavs reportedly traded away Rodney Hood to the Portland Trail Blazers, and the likes of Alec Burks and Channing Frye are likely to be two of the next names exiting Cleveland. The Cavs are clearly willing to trade away both veterans and players on expiring contracts, and the team will be looking to get as many players as possible off their books ahead of the deadline on Thursday.

Ultimately, the Cavs want draft picks, and the team is more than happy to tank until April.
