The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors lock horns for a marquee matchup at the Chase Center. The league-leading Cavaliers are up 1-0 on Golden State before Monday's season series finale. In their previous game on Nov. 8, the Cavaliers hammered the Warriors in a 136-117 win.
A 27-point effort from Darius Garland and 23 points from Evan Mobley turned the game in Cleveland's favor. Four others scored in double digits. It also compensated for an off-night from All-Star Donovan Mitchell, who contributed only 12 points on 4 of 13 shots.
On the other hand, the Warriors didn't get any significant effort from anyone except Jonathan Kuminga. The young forward added a team-high 21 points off the bench. Steph Curry was a major letdown after tallying just 12 points on 5 of 10 shots.
The Warriors were rolling before that clash, with a 7-1 record to start the season. However, the then-unbeaten Cavaliers, who were on a nine-game winning streak to start the year, took care of business easily at home.

The Warriors are remotely not in the same position, with four wins in 16 games ahead of Monday's matchup. Nevertheless, with a 109-105 win in their previous outing and homecourt advantage, the Warriors will look to cause one of the season's biggest upsets against the 27-4 Cavaliers.
Cleveland is coming off a six-game winning streak and remains the outright favorite.
