The Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers will meet for the second time in two days on Tuesday, this time at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Cleveland will be eager to bounce back after losing 108-93 to its Midwest rival at home on Sunday.
The Cavaliers have set the pace this season with a league-best 33-5 record. The Pacers (22-18), however, have established themselves as the team to beat in 2025, stringing together a perfect 6-0 run in January to move up to fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.
Tuesday's encounter pits two of the top teams in the East against each other. There will be plenty of big-name stars on display, and this should be an entertaining and closely contested matchup.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA, and a big part of their success has been maintaining a regular group of starters. Over the first 38 games, four players have 36 or more starts. Forwards Dean Wade and Isaac Okoro have been the preferred options for the fifth starting spot.
The Cavaliers will go into Tuesday's game without guard Luke Travers. Forward Emoni Bates (knee) and guard Ty Jerome (illness) are both listed as game-time decisions.
Expect coach Kenny Atkinson to come out with his regular group that includes Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Dean Wade, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.
Cleveland Cavaliers depth chart:
The Indiana Pacers have been consistent with their starting five over the first three months of the season. Coach Rick Carlisle has trusted his starters with Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam leading the way with 40 starts, followed by Myles Turner, who has 37.
A nagging hamstring injury to Haliburton will be a concern for the Pacers. The All-Star guard is listed as doubtful for the game on Tuesday. Guard T.J. McConnell would likely see more minutes if Haliburton were to miss out against the Cavaliers.
Aaron Nesmith and Isaiah Jackson are also out due to injury. Center James Wiseman will be sidelined for a significant period after suffering a torn left Achilles tendon in October.
Carlisle will likely stick with the same starting group that defeated the Cavaliers on Sunday. Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard, Bennedict Mathurin, Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner should take the court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
