Cody Martin is a professional basketball player in the NBA, currently playing the small forward position for the Charlotte Hornets. Along with his twin brother Caleb, Cody Martin attended Davie County High School in North Carolina for three seasons, where the duo led their team to successful campaigns. After graduating high school, the Martin twins decided to continue playing basketball together and enrolled at North Carolina State University.

After two seasons at NC State, Cody Martin moved to the University of Nevada. Playing under coach Eric Musselman, Martin thrived in his new home, averaging 14 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. This impressive stat line and leadership helped guide Nevada to an NCAA Tournament berth.

Based on his college success, Martin’s prospects were strong entering the 2019 NBA Draft. The Charlotte Hornets selected Martin with the 36th overall pick. Now in his fifth NBA season with the franchise, Martin has emerged as a key role player.

In the 2022-2023 season so far, Martin averaged 5.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game as he had to undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee. Though his scoring output is modest, Martin frequently makes winning plays that don't always show up on the stat sheet. With continued development and usage, he figures to play an integral part in the Hornets’ plans.

Cody Martin Wingspan

One of Martin's most valuable physical tools is his impressive 6-foot-10-inch wingspan. This wide reach allows Martin to play bigger than his 6'5" height would typically allow. With his long arms, he is able to grab tough rebounds. His wingspan also aids Martin's playmaking ability - he can whip passes through small passing lanes that opponents don't expect.

Cody Martin Height

At 6'5" tall, Martin possesses good size for a wing player. This height is advantageous on both ends of the court. On offense, it allows Martin to shoot and score over smaller defenders, while also having the leaping ability to finish strong dunks at the rim.

Cody Martin Age

As of February 2024, Martin is 28 years old. He attended and played basketball at Davie County High School in North Carolina, where he first competed in football as a freshman before focusing on basketball with his twin Caleb. Now entering his athletic prime years, Martin combines youth and experience as a key veteran presence on the young Hornets squad.
