Collin "Young Bull" Sexton, a basketball guard for the Utah Jazz, was born on January 4, 1999. He was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the eighth pick in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2019. After suffering a season-ending knee injury in 2021, he was a free agent in June 2022. In September of the latter season, he was traded to the Utah Jazz through sign-and-trade. In his six seasons with the NBA, he has played in 344 games, starting 274, averaging 18.9 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.8 rebounds as of the 2023-24 NBA season.

Sexton went to Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, Georgia, and then in his junior year, he transferred to Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Georgia. He won the 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Cup MVP and the 2017 McDonald's All-American. Further, he won a gold medal at the 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship in Zaragoza, Spain, with the USA Men's U17 World Championship Team. Graduating as a five-star recruit, he enrolled at the University of Alabama, and in his lone season there, he was named for the second-team All-SEC, SEC Freshman of the Year and SEC All-Freshman Team in 2018.

Hamstring Injury (Feb 2023)

Sexton missed 18 games in a row after suffering a hamstring injury in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on February 15, 2023, as per Basketball Reference. The Jazz lost the game after he sustained the injury in the first quarter. He returned to action on April 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers but did not play in the following final three games of the regular season.

Knee Injury (Nov 2021)

Sexton left a road game against the New York Knicks on November 7, 2021, due to a knee injury that eventually turned out to have ruptured the left meniscus. There was no schedule set for his return and on November 20, it was confirmed that he underwent season-ending surgery by CBS Sports. By the next season, he was fully recovered and participated in the Utah Jazz vs. Denver Nuggets game on October 19, 2022, which they won.
