#1 Corey Brewer
Corey Brewer has never quite lived up to his early potential after being selected seventh overall in the 2007 NBA draft, although he has proved to be a solid backup option during his 12 seasons in the league. Despite turning 33 earlier this year, few players around the league offer as much energy and hustle as the Tennessee native, and Brewer should still have plenty in the tank after only playing sparingly during the past 18 months.
Despite seeing limited game time, Brewer has impressed during recent spells with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers, and Sacramento Kings, and the veteran has worked hard to improve his perimeter shot. Brewer is a career 28% shooter from three-point range, although he managed to up his accuracy to 34% over spells with the Thunder and the Kings, and due to his all-around skill set and experience, Brewer would be a great addition to a Mavs team in need of an additional wing.
