Croatian professional basketball player Dario Saric plays for the Golden State Warriors. He began his pro career in 2009 with Zrinjevac at just 15 years old. In 2011, Saric won the Città di Roma EuroLeague International Junior Tournament, showing his talent from an early age. He was nominated for the FIBA Young Player of the Year award in both 2010 and 2011, in recognition of his promising abilities.

In November 2012, the then 18-year-old Saric signed a four-year contract with Cibona Zagreb in his home country of Croatia. After two strong seasons with Cibona, he signed a multi-year contract with Anadolu Efes, a Turkish club, in 2014. That same year, despite having no plans to immediately join the NBA, Saric was drafted 12th overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2014 NBA Draft, with his rights subsequently traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.

After being named EuroLeague MVP of the Month in November 2014 at age 20, Saric finished his European season before finally joining the 76ers in 2016. In his first NBA season, he put up impressive stats of 12.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, finishing second in Rookie of the Year voting. Following two more seasons with Philadelphia, he was part of a trade package to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2018.

Short stints with the Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City Thunder followed before Saric was traded to the Golden State Warriors in July 2023, his current team.
