Born to a former NBA player and 1993/94 Italian Cup winner, Winston Garland, Darius Garland is a professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For high school, Garland attended Brentwood Academy, where he led his team to the Tennessee Secondary School Division II-AA State Championship. He won four state championships with Brentwood Academy and was awarded an MVP honor and TSSAA Division II-AA Mr. Basketball accolades. He was regarded as the best point guard of the 2018 class.
